Pen Pal

If you're 55 years or older become an AmeriCorps Senior RSVP volunteer and participate in our Pen Pal program! The Pen Pal program is an intergenerational program aimed at connecting seniors and students. Exchange letters with your assigned elementary-aged pen pal once a month during the school year. This program offers students an opportunity to work on their reading, writing, and social skills; while offering you a meaningful volunteer experience from the comfort of your own home. Volunteers are asked to participate in an end of the school year Pen Pal Party, were you will have the chance to meet your pen pal(s) in person! Programs are located in the School Districts of Waukesha and Menomonee Falls.
