Description
Our School History: Potter Elementary opened its doors to students in September 1960. The school was named after Marcellus D. Potter who was born in Sylvester, GA. He moved to Tampa and started the first Negro newspaper in the state of Florida.
We are a leadership academy and we teach each student to L.E.A.D. with the following expectations: Love, Effort, Attitude, & Discipline!
Our School Vision: Our vision is that every Potter Eagles R.I.S.E. - meaning Potter Eagles Reach for High Academic Achievement, Potter Eagles have Integrity, Potter Eagles Support, and Potter Eagles Empower.
