Connect with your community and make it a better place!
The more you give, the happier you feel! Junior Achievement allows you to transfer your leadership skills, spread your knowledge in financial literacy and share your entrepreneurial spirit to youth in elementary and middle schools all across Southern Alberta. JA is a non-profit company that gives you the amazing opportunity to connect with your community and help make it a better place!
We are seeking volunteers with practical work experience from all educational and professional backgrounds to facilitate our interactive programs in local schools.
The volunteer time commitments are small, averaging 4 hours (usually over the course of one morning). You are welcome to volunteer on one single occasion, or as many times as you’d like!
JA provides all of the program materials, presentation aids, and a 90-minute training session to help you prepare for the classroom. Volunteers can also deliver the program in pairs for extra support!
For a list of current volunteer opportunities and the programs that you can get involved with, check out our website: http://jasab.ca/programs/
Location is set to change based on school availability and date selection.
