If you are a college student looking for service hours for your scholarships or organizations, then check out the opportunities Preferred Hospice has to offer. We are currently looking for compassionate, kind, and empathetic volunteers to visit with patients who are receiving hospice care. Preferred Hospice serves numerous patients everywhere within an hour radius of our main office in Ozark. This provides opportunities that will be sure to fit your needs. Volunteers like you, become great companions to our patients. You will provide emotional support and comfort that patients might otherwise not receive. Our volunteers provide activities from painting nails, playing games, or just having a conversation. Preferred Hospice also provides mileage reimbursement! If you are not interested in visiting patients, we are also in need of volunteers in our office to assist our clerical staff. Please contact volunteer coordinators Pam Workman and Christie Brown at 417-581-4968 to become a part of the Preferred Hospice family. Please feel free to call or text Christie directly at 417-300-8690. We look forward to hearing from you!
