Dig It! is an educational, fun-filled event full of big equipment that digs and excavates. It will provide a unique, earth-moving experience to children of all ages through a series of hands-on activities, including a chance to operate heavy machinery from the driver’s seat, with the help of a certified operator. At Dig It!, children will have an opportunity to learn about building sustainable communities and trade industry careers. Certified operators will assist with mobile equipment and there will be parked machinery for children to climb on and explore. A Kid Zone area will include a large sand pile for playing and digging, a tire maze, and culvert play areas. Local trade-related businesses will be giving demonstrations and providing hands-on activities throughout the day.

It will take an army of volunteers to make this event happen! Shifts are 8:00am-12:30pm or 12:30-4:30pm the day of the event. Volunteers receive free admission but best of all, you will have a front row seat to our inaugural event!
