Host will set up game board(s) in a community room and play with the Sisters in attendance. Volunteer(s) may select or suggest the game to be played, e.g.: Scrabble, Bridge, Backgammon, Trivia, etc...
Game boards and refreshments will be provided. This role may be fulfilled by one volunteer or a small volunteer group.
We have eight communities at Marillac with 7-10 Sisters in each. Host may play with one community or rotate communities.
Communities are filled with Sisters of Charity, Marist Sisters and Sister of Jesus and Mary who’ve led lives of service as teachers, nurses and advocates for those in need. You will find them intelligent, organized, helpful, kind, faith full and interested in you!
You will bring in new energy and take away a special friendly experience.
