Are you wondering if volunteering is safe during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Keystone has modified our program delivery in all programs to offer services in safe, socially distanced ways. Here are a few examples of things we’re doing differently:
A health screening questionnaire poster is shown at our food shelves and any staff, participants, or volunteers who cannot answer yes to all of the questions are asked not to participate in our programs.
All staff, volunteers, and participants must wear a mask covering their nose and mouth.
Every site has hand sanitizer and handwashing stations readily available.
All staff and volunteers must wear gloves when handling food.
Each site has a specific number of people allowed in each building during a shift to allow for social distancing when working.
Participants are served one at a time, in a socially distanced way. In our Meals on Wheels program, we are delivering meals once per week to limit exposure for everyone.
How do I apply?
Please fill out a volunteer application on our website!
Our mission is to strengthen the capacity of individuals and families to improve the quality of life.
