THIS PROGRAM IS PART OF OUR ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. Private sponsors and funds assist us in ensuring the cost of participation is minimal so now all we need is YOU!!.
We are looking for High School students, college students and professional willing to assist in providing tutoring via our free Saturday MathMATTERS Enrichment Program.
The program is all year however we solicit volunteers in (4) Session Groups. You may volunteer for a single Session of the entire school year.
THE SATURDAY ACADEMY Enrichment program couples on-line KHAN Academy Technology with Test Innovators practice exercises and in room testing to assist elementary and middle school youth in improving their overall math performance and overcoming common testing challenges.
This simple informal program will help bridge Achievement Gaps.
Each location is limited to 20 participants to ensure optimal assitance.
We are looking for (10) volunteers per location to foster small group tutoring for 5 students weekly and want to be flexible in recruiting the right dedicated volunteer(s)

By providing multiple services it enables youth and families with limited resources the opportunity to obtain complete assistance in a single location. These services will provide motivation, confidence, independence, intuition, and analytical skills needed to empower today's youth to transform into healthy adults.
