Volunteer Coordinator

Are you a Dog Lover? Do you want to help our nonprofit 501 c 3 Dog Rescue.... We are a 100% volunteer based and runed dog rescued. You can make a difference and save dogs lives!!
We are looking for a Non-profit seeking volunteer to help the oversight of all aspects of the volunteer program. The volunteer coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment and management of volunteers while promoting the mission of the non-profit. Volunteer management experience would be a plus.

The correct candidate will have an open and flexible schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Daily oversight of current volunteers and maintaining quality, working relationships.
• Process Volunteers into our Private FB networking communication page.
• Schedule and perform new volunteer orientations and trainings monthly or bi-monthly.
• Create a Volunteer Handbook guide.
• Ensures safety guidelines and procedures are maintained.
• Assist the VP in the oversight of the foster program
• Assist the Nonprofit with volunteer recruitment, organization and management for fundraiser events and other community events that Nonprofit attends.
