Join the fun to help senior residents enjoy one of their favorite games - BINGO! Volunteers are needed to assist residents as they play the game. Volunteers are also needed to call BINGO. Residents needs vary regarding the type of the assistance they need. Some with seeing the BINGO card, some have hearing loss and some physically may need a volunteer's helpt in placing their BINGO tokens on the card. Staff also need assistnace from volunteers to transport residents via wheel chair or accompany them as they walk to BINGO and back to their rooms. Residents are extremely appreciative of volunteers who hlep and it is a nice time so socialize and spend time with them. Many volunteers and residents form friendships which enhance both of their lives.
