The Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County is looking for a self-motivated person to work "behind the scenes" utilizing his/her special talents. This volunteer position would be exciting for a person who wants to give back to his/her community by sharing her/his special talents.
We are always looking for people to volunteer and help spread the love of reading and improve literacy here in Sonoma County!

Mission Statement
Promotes literacy and love of reading by giving away high quality books to people throughout the Sonoma County region. On a mission of outreach, the Free Bookmobile especially seeks to serve children, families, and seniors living in rural and low-income areas.
Description
The Sonoma County Free Bookmobile is a program of the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Bookmobile accepts donations of books and distributes them to children, seniors and adults throughout Sonoma County, focusing on low-income and rural areas.
We particularly strive to provide high-quality books to low-income children, and to present an opportunity that gets children excited about reading. To date, we have given away more than 105,000 books!
