I work for a local hospice company in Beverly and am organizing a memorial event in honor of our patients who have passed away while under our care. The event will be for family and friends of the deceased and will be approx. 30-60 minutes at the pond at Cummings Park in Beverly. Our plan is to have a pathway lit with paper luminaries in honor of all of our patients who have passed over the past year. Family members are invited to write names and/or notes to their deceased loved ones on special luminaries that we’ll release into the pond. The event will conclude with a few final (non-denominational) words from our chaplain followed by coffee and treats for all attendees.
I'd love to have 1-2 string musicians play soft music throughout the event while guests arrive, walk through the path and select floating luminaries.
Thank you.
