At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), we're passionate about our mission: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS volunteers help carry out this mission in so many ways: supporting patients, family members, healthcare professionals, and our community, driving policy advocacy, participating in our campaigns, and helping LLS build much needed capacity.
Position Summary
Reporting to Debbie Griggs, the purpose of this role is to assist with specific projects and activities for LLS Procurement and Event Meeting Services. The outcomes of this role serve our mission work and will require the volunteer to perform task that may include:
- Assist with updating budgets, tracking expenses and review bills against rooming lists.
- Prepare and manage rooming lists include double checking against information in Etouches
- Create name badges for upcoming events
- Work with restaurants and venues for upcoming events
- Assist in sourcing venues for upcoming events
- Create name badges for upcoming events
- Input Contracts and invoices into COUPA System
- Assist with expense reports in CONCUR System
- Assist with other administrative duties and projects as needed.

Rye Brook, NY
Time Commitment
Up to 20 hours per week
Monday thru Thursday
Qualifications
Volunteer should possess the following skills/qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiar with MS Office Suite
Background check required: No
Training
LLS will provide the volunteer with an orientation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as the following training specific to the volunteer role:
- Coupa
- Etouches
- Concur
- LLS Events Meeting Services
