STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) programs are held every other month on the 3rd Sunday of even months at the Mitchell Park Library, typically from 2:30 - 3:30.
Volunteers are needed to:
- help set up the room (moving tables and furniture)
- help set up the activity
- help the children (elementary school kids) do the project
- help clean up the room afterwards
Typically, volunteers come up to 1 hour before the program and stay about 30 minutes after for a total time of 2.5 - 3 hours (1:30pm - 4:00pm). Some programs last longer.
