This project will entail everyone's favorite task... PAINTING! We will have the task of painting the house of an individual or family in need of assistance. They might event be a Veteran, which is awesome, but regardless we are concentrating on beautifying the neighborhood and the persons home with a fresh coat of paint and light maintenance to the outside of the home. TMC has a great relationship with Habitat and we can't wait to be apart of this Cowtown Brush up, its an annual event and you can check out their site for more information on it.
Trinity Habitat takes over a whole neighborhood and there will be 45+ houses painted in one day. TMC Arlington has its own house and we are sharing with TMC Fort Worth. SPACES ARE LIMITED We can only have 20 volunteers assigned to a house. So if you sign up you are committing to being there. We have until 3pm, but we will most likely finish early. Sign up for this amazing day, we will have TMC and Cowtown Brush shirts for all attendees, if your bringing the kids they have to be 12 years or older.
Snacks and water will be provided.

Mission Statement
We are on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities: empowering veterans to continue their service, while empowering communities with the talent, skills and preparedness of veterans to generate visible impact.
Description
The Mission Continues is a national, nonpartisan nonprofit that empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact.
Veterans possess the drive and desire to serve others, but without access to the tools needed, their potential to make meaningful impact at the local level remains untapped. On the other end of the spectrum growing numbers of communities in this country are under-resourced and being left behind.
At The Mission Continues, we’re on a mission to connect veterans with under-resourced communities.
Our programs in cities across the country deploy veteran volunteers alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, increase access to parks and green spaces, foster neighborhood identity, and more.
Our vision is for all veterans with a desire to continue their service to be part of a movement to transform communities.
