Turning the Page (TTP) links public schools, families and our community so that, together, we can ensure students receive valuable educational resources and a high quality public education. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated volunteers to join our volunteer program.

WHAT ARE COMMUNITY NIGHTS? Events we hold once a month at each of our four partner K-8 schools. Opportunities for parents, families, students, and school staff to get together, learn something new, build relationships, and have fun. Includes dinner, workshops for parents and students, and book giveaways.

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO AT COMMUNITY NIGHT? Assisting staff in student workshops reading books, doing art, playing games, providing small group/one-on-one support to students. Helping with the welcome/check-ins for families.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT? All events are from 3:00-5:30 pm OR 4:30-7:00 pm, depending on the school and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Volunteering once is great, Volunteering multiple times is super fantastic!

DINNER AND BRIEF ONSITE ORIENTATION PROVIDED TO ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!!
