ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - South Florida Region

We are actively recruiting for a volunteer to fill the role of Fundraising/Grants Research Volunteer to support the Red Cross by researching and managing grants that meet the goals and objectives of the Red Cross mission and priorities. In this role, you will be able to enhance your grants research and management skills. Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide training and ongoing assistance to grant project staff on Red Cross protocols and procedures
  • Assist with updating and expanding prospective government grant streams; researching application requirements and deadlines
  • Conduct general research, obtain information, and perform data entry

Previous experience in administrative positions would be preferred. If you have strong communication skills, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, this would be an ideal position for you.
