The school year has started & the sports are back in action. With that being said, there is a great need for volunteer coaches and athletic assistance. Make an impact in the San Pedro Community by getting kids fit!
The hours may vary depending on the age group of the team. We offer 3 different divisions within our league including ages 7-14 years old. All practices (depending on the division but usually 2 times per week) occur after 5:00 PM Monday-Friday.

Description
BGCLAH offers assistance to youth, specifically low-income youth. We offer daily programming which includes Academics (tutoring), Athletics (sports leagues, general sports), Arts, STEM, Music, Dance, and College Preparation. We have needs in all program areas in which outreaching for consistent volunteers are vital for our organization to run since our members thrive off of 1-on-1 assistance. We also have a need for our Food Distribution Program (Weekend Wellness) which hosts a once a month distribution for our families and the community facing food insecurity. We need volunteers for this program since it requires a lot more labor and the more hands on deck, the more beneficial it is for our staff and program to run.
