The Naples Preserve offers one of the best opportunities in Southwest Florida to see gopher tortoises in their natural habitat, along with native wildflowers, trees, birds, butterflies, rabbits, and more. The Preserve is in need of volunteer Naples Ambassadors to: Attend the front desk providing cursory information to visitors, do light weeding and tending to the butterfly garden, landscape/habitat restoration for the 9.5 acre site, and naturalists who wish to further the mission of preservation. Duties based on availability and ability.

The City continually offers opportunities for program participation through a variety of venues including but not limited to dance, art, sports, martial arts, athletic leagues, swimming, theater, extreme sports and camps. Inclusion programs are provided for individuals with "special abilities" including summer camps for pre-school age, elementary age, middle school age and high school age participants.
