Do you teach Zumba, Yoga, or another type of exercise/workout?
Volunteer at the Neighborhood Youth Association, a non-profit, after-school program for low income and at risk students and families!
We are looking for an instructor to lead a weekly class for high school students and parents. We are trying to get our community more involved in physical activities and conscious of health/wellness. Most of our families cannot afford to pay for exercise classes, but are interested in improving their health and teaching their children to live healthy lives.
We are looking for a long-term volunteer who can commit at least one hour, once a week (6 pm - 7 pm).
Spanish speaking is preferable.

NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
