Meals on Wheels is a smile, a kind word, and friendly face. For many homebound clients, the volunteer they see is the only social connection s/he may have that day. In many cases, this contact is also wellness check-becoming an important thread in the safety net for our most vulnerable neighbors, allowing them to remain secure and independent in their own homes.
Dining Room:

Mission Statement
Meals on Wheels focuses on caring for individuals whose diminished mobility makes it hard to shop for food, prepare meals, or socialize with others. Our program serves adults 60 and over, Native Americans over 55, and adults with a disability.
Description
Meals on Wheels operates in virtually every community, but here in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties, the program has provided critical food and services to the tri-County Region for 38 years.
Meals on Wheels Linn, Benton, Lincoln is managed by the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments, in partnership with the Oregon Cascades West Senior Services Foundation.
