The Dream Factory of Rochester is a volunteer based organization that fulfills dreams for children with critical or chronic illnesses.
We are seeking an accountant or someone in the finance field who can assist us with monthly financial reporting and record keeping. Our organization meets monthly (3rd Monday of each month) with the treasurer giving a brief report based on the monthly report prepared and submitted to our National Headquarters. Potential treasurer should be very familiar with Quickbooks and Quickbooks online, be available to prepare the necessary reports prior to the 15th of EACH month and must be local so that you are available to be a cosigner on checks.
Position would begin as assistant treasurer until current treasurer determines volunteer is up to speed, familiar with our organization, and ready to take on the majority of responsibilities needed.
Treasurer will need to complete a background check and an annual financal solvency document.
