ORGANIZATION: San Jose Public Library - Biblioteca Latinoamericana Branch Library

The Wee Play Outdoors Programming Assistant will help set up the Patio Area at Biblioteca Latinoamericana on Wednesdays, from 10:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. This volunteer would also help out at the Wee Play Outdoors program from 11:00 until 12:00, then help clean up from 12:00 until around 12:30 p.m. If you have around two hours and fifteen minutes each week to spare, we would appreciate your help.

Fingerprinting is requited for all volunteers ages 18 and older.

Description

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
