Service Learning Intern
The Boys & Girls Club Lakewood Branch (10402 Kline St SW, Lakewood) is seeking a Service Learning Intern for the 2018/2019 school year.
Duties:
- Coordinate, identify and help plan community service projects.
- Recruit Club members to participate in community service projects.
- Write project recap narratives, including photographs of participants.
- Collaborate with other departments, Clubhouses, and community organizations.
- Maintain cleanliness of program area.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Program Director/ Teen Program Coordinator
Skills Needed:
- Ability to work with youth from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to motivate youth to participate in activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Sample Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Requirements: Intern must be at least 18 years of age and undergo a criminal background check, volunteer orientation, and training.
