Service Learning Intern

The Boys & Girls Club Lakewood Branch (10402 Kline St SW, Lakewood) is seeking a Service Learning Intern for the 2018/2019 school year.

Duties:

  • Coordinate, identify and help plan community service projects.
  • Recruit Club members to participate in community service projects.
  • Write project recap narratives, including photographs of participants.
  • Collaborate with other departments, Clubhouses, and community organizations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of program area.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Program Director/ Teen Program Coordinator

Skills Needed:

  • Ability to work with youth from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to motivate youth to participate in activities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Sample Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Requirements: Intern must be at least 18 years of age and undergo a criminal background check, volunteer orientation, and training.
