Keep Norfolk Beautiful is hosting the annual International Coastal Cleanup September 10 - October 31 throughout Norfolk. Join the international volunteer opportunity to collect, track, and remove litter from Norfolk’s beaches and waterways. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed permission form which can be obtained from Keep Norfolk Beautiful.
This event happens once a year and removes trash from our beaches, waterways, and communities as well as cities around the world by tracking what you find! This is a unique opportunity to discover the types of litter found throughout Norfolk and help your city become litter-free.
Site captains will be given a brief training and we will provide litter grabbers, gloves, sign-in sheets and water coolers to volunteer teams.
