Our Roze Room Hospice Patient/Family volunteers provide soul support for those facing a limited life expectancy by providing friendly visits, caregiver support and companionship. The visit schedule is flexible and depends upon volunteer and patient availability. All Patient/Family Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. We also ask that each volunteer complete 15-20 hours of instruction, have a TB test, and supply us with a copy of their California driver’s license or ID, current car insurance and social security card. Each potential volunteer also has a background check. Patient/family volunteers are asked to volunteer 4-10 hours a month.
