Many students, especially in the health care industry, are looking to gain direct patient care volunteer hours for their degree. Hospice is a great fit to make that happen. We can provide students with the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a terminally ill patient. Our Patient Care Volunteer provide companionship and support to patients and their families.
Support includes:
Friendly visits and conversation, reading to patients, a listening presence, and care giver relief.
You will gain hours for your degree goal, as well as having a profound experience that you can gain by joining our Compassus Hospice team.
