Volunteers at Hopsice of Central Ohio provide companionship and support services to the patient and the patient caregiver within a specific scope of practice. Patients, their caregivers, and their families receive both physical and emotional support through a volunteer's regular visits, empathetic listening, respite care, reading, and companionship.
