  • 12 people are interested

In the Mission Fed JA Finance Park, middle and high school students are taught personal finance curriculum in class that culminates in a visit to our Mission Fed JA Finance Park facility in Mission Valley. Volunteers guide groups of 8-14 students through a simulation that mimics what it's like to be an adult, where students learn to budget, save, and spend for themselves and their virtual families.

We welcome the community to get involved with Junior Achievement this semester as we strive to impact over 80,000 students this school year. During the month of April which is Financial Literacy Month, we have created many dynamic opportunities for large groups to volunteer with our students in Mission Fed JA Finance Park, preparing them for their future!

Please work with us in conjunction with Mission Fed Credit Union this month to bring financial literacy and responsible money management skills to this important group of students.
