Become a friendly visitor with one of our hospice patients who may live at home, at an Assisted Living Facility, an apartment or in a Nursing Homes in the Neenah area. Our volunteers add life to each day. You can visit with someone near your home or work, weekly or twice a month, depending on your schedule. Visit ideas include:
Reading, writing letters, reminiscing.
Going for a walk with a patient or family member.
Playing or listening to music.
Sitting with a patient so caregivers can have some personal time.
Engage in art, music, or pet therapy.
Assisting with an activity in an extended care facility, ex. Bingo, a card game, a holiday party.
Hair Care or nail care.
