Alhambra Senior center is looking for seniors who are 55+ to help in their nutritional senior lunch program. Volunteering duties may includes helping to prepare lunch room, help serve seniors lunch, clean up after lunch is served.
Lunch is provided to low income seniors for a nominal price. It is a place for seniors who are isolated and/or lonely to join in community and fellowship.

RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is a federally-based grant sponsored by AARP Foundation. Our goal is to help adults who are 55 and older find meaningful volunteer experiences helping other seniors in their community. We focus on hunger, economic independence and isolation. We provide volunteers with some mileage reimbursement, extra liability insurance and a lot of volunteer recognition
