HELP US HONOR OUR VETERANS ON VETERANS DAY AND BEYOND.

Southern Care Hospice takes pride in recognizing our hospice patients for their military service through our We Honor Veterans program.

Two ways to serve:

1) Meet the veteran patients in their home or facility and present the patient with a framed certificate of appreciation and lapel pin (provided by Southern Care Hospice) to thank them for their service.

2) Veteran volunteers are also needed for recurring friendly visits. This provides the patient an understanding ear if they desire to talk about their military experience. These patients will look forward to every visit they receive from a fellow veteran.

If you are interested in more information please click the "I WANT TO HELP" button and make sure to provide your phone number so the volunteer coordinator can get in touch with you. Or call 251-621-2844 and ask for Karen the Volunteer Coordinator.
