Administrative hospice volunteers gain professional experience in a medical office setting while making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Administrative hospice volunteers provide a valuable function to the hospice team by performing clerical tasks, managing outreach, coordinating resources, initiating correspondence and completing special projects as assigned.
Administrative volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and receive a flexible online training on working in a professional medical setting. Administrative volunteering offers the opportunity for flexible scheduling. All applicants must submit to a background check.
