We are looking for engaged and excited people to join our nonprofit board! Do you care about the San Francisco Bay, the environment, or wildlife? Would you like to support an organization that works to engage diverse communities of people with science and nature and provides biological research support for region-wide conservation projects? If that sounds like something you are interested in, please consider joining our board!

The commitment would entail monthly board meetings, engagement with donors at events or independently, and duties associated with a board committee. A great board member will be responsive, responsible, and enthusiastic. Skills that may predict successful board membership include: legal literacy, science background, social media competency, development experience, accounting experience, strong people skills, and educational experience. It also helps if board members are patient and tenacious as nonprofits often evolve and change at a slow rate.
