Viet Film Fest is back October 12-14, 2018 at AMC Orange 30.
We have a wonderful lineup with a jam packed three-day event this year. And we need HELP from our most dedicated, wonderful VFF/VAALA volunteers.
The very first General Volunteers Meeting for Viet Film Fest!!!

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following departments:
1/ Marketing
2/ Box Office (ushers, crowd control, ticket check-in, etc)
3/ Guest Relations (greeters, line controls, etc)
4/ Special Events
5/Technical
6/Volunteer Coordination

Viet Film Fest is a 100% volunteer based program so we really need help from film-lovers, people lovers and art enthusiasts like yourself.

VAALA's mission is to connect and enrich communities through Vietnamese art and culture
Description
Founded in 1991 by a group of Vietnamese American journalists, artists and friends, Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) is a community-based, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. VAALA organizes numerous cultural events such as art exhibitions, book signings, music recitals, plays, and annual events such as the Viet Film Fest and the Children's Moon Festival Art Contest. VAALA also offers year-long art and music classes.
Our Objectives are:
- To produce artistic programs that promote the vitality of Vietnamese arts and culture
- To implement the arts as an educational tool for exploring the Vietnamese experience, focusing on the diaspora
- To provide a space for artists and audiences of all backgrounds to interact in an ongoing dialogue
- To facilitate communication, tolerance and understanding among people of diverse identities
- To advocate inclusiveness by utilizing the arts to transcend boundaries both within the community and globally
