ORGANIZATION: THE AGRARIAN ADVENTURE

TAA

If you have experience with strategic planning and group facilitation, check out this opportunity to make a big impact on our small organization.

You will:

  • serve as a member of the board of directors
  • serve as a sounding board and liaison among board members and volunteers
  • guide team members through decision-making processes
  • help provide strategic direction
  • attend monthly board meetings (evenings, 1.5 hours each)
  • dedicate about 5 hours per month outside of meetings to strategic planning work
Ideally, you have:
  • experience with group facilitation
  • demonstrated ability to help teams navigate complicated decisions
  • connections to the farm-to-school community are a plus, but certainly not required
You will work for an organization that:
  • was one of the first farm-to-school organizations in our area
  • consistently has more demand for programming than we can meet
  • impacts over 1,000 K-8 students annually in Ann Arbor Public Schools
  • partners with other farm-to-school organizations in the county to share resources and best practices
  • focuses on teaching kids about the health of our bodies, our land, and our environment (and how they're all connected)

If this sounds like a good opportunity for you, please get in touch!
