Manage Finances for a Farm-to-School Organization

You will:

• serve as a member of the board of directors
• manage TAA's annual budget
• monitor income and expenses
• ensure we are up-to-date with tax documents and insurance coverage
• prepare brief finance reports for each meeting (we meet monthly, usually in the evening for 1.5 hours)
• keep your team members informed about the organization's financial status
• dedicate about 5 hours per month outside of meetings to general finance responsibilities

• prior experience in similar roles or within the finance industry
• experience with Quickbooks (this is a plus, but not required)

• was one of the first farm-to-school organizations in our area
• impacts over 1,000 K-8 students annually in Ann Arbor Public Schools
• partners with other farm-to-school organizations in the county to share resources and best practices
• focuses on teaching kids about the health of our bodies, our land, and our environment (and how they're all connected)
