TR Adaptive Aquatics classes are for ages 4-adult and participants will have a range of abilities. The Buddy system is a hallmark of water activity and we would love to have you be a buddy!
The Therapeutic Recreation program within the LFUCG division of Parks and Recreation is one of the oldest (1955!) and most progressive in the state. Volunteer opportunities are available for 7 classes and 2 events that will meet throughout fall. Come join us!

Description
Parks provides the primary access to the natural environment and to natural and active
outdoor recreational opportunities for all residents and visitors. Access
to these facilities, helps promote the health and wellness of the community.
Lexington Parks and Recreation offers more than 100 parks, including 77 Mini Parks, 36
Neighborhood Parks, 15 Community Parks, 5 Regional Parks, and 4 Nature Parks. The division
offers many Special Use Parks, including 7 community centers, 5 golf courses, and 7 plaza spaces. Lexington provides over 70 miles of trails and many other natural areas. Programming is vast and occurs throughout the year and programs are inclusive.CAUSE AREAS
