Phone Banking Party for RISE Climate March

ORGANIZATION: Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter

RISE

Join our phone banking party to get folks across the Bay Area excited about showing up for the RISE for Climate, Jobs, and Justice march in San Francisco on September 8th! The march is part of a global day of action to demand our elected leaders commit to no new fossil fuels and a just and fair transition to 100% renewable energy.

This will be a fun way to spread the word about the march, talk to people about why they should show up, and build a strong coalition of environmental activists. We will provide you with a phone script so you know what to say, a list of numbers to call, food, and great company. We ask that you bring your own phone to make calls, please let us know if you don't have access to a phone and we will make other arrangements.

The location of this event is at Sierra Club National Headquarters in Oakland and is transit-accessible via the 19th Street Bart Station.

Please email julia.foote@sierraclub.org if you're interested in volunteering! We hope to see you there.
