This volunteer will assist with our Vo-Tech program and instruct or help the Vo-Tech instructor teach carpentry , electrical, or HVAC education to 8th - 12th grade members. Volunteer needs general knowledge or advanced skills in carpentry (power and hand tools), HVAC, or electrical. Volunteer should have an interests in sharing their knowledge of the trades and these life skills with teens. Volunteer should serve as a mentor and role model while working with our members. This program is offered Monday through Friday between 3:30 and 7 PM during the school year, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the summer.
18 and older requires a background screening.

Who We Serve
We serve 3,000 children and teens, ages 6 to 18, in our clubs and afterschool programs, and through our partnership with the Naples Children and Education Foundation and Florida’s 21st Century.
We offer a safe place for young people to learn, grow and develop ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals who support the educational, emotional, physical, vocational, character, and social development of our youth and provide them with the resources needed to become successful adults.
BGCCC offers award-winning programs to help youth build self esteem, devlop leadership skills, and consider values, and give back to their community.
Nearly 89% of members receive free or reduced lunch, 48% of members come from homes where English is not the primary spoken language, 38% of members live in single parent households, and 63% of members live at, or below, poverty level.
