ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Cascades Region

We are looking for Volunteer Drivers to transport secured boxes of blood in their own vehicle from Clark County blood drives to the North Portland office of the Red Cross for processing. Help save lives from the seat of your car by getting our blood donations to those in need!

TIME COMMITMENT
Variable; preferred commitment of two to three shifts per month for at least six months.

REQUIRED TRAINING
* American Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
* Transportation Specialist Training

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • We need you to commit to 2-4 shifts per month (or more if you can!)
  • You’ll also need to meet these important qualifications: Have a valid state driver's license and proof of insurance Have 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record Can lift up to 45 lbs.
