The Greer Learning Center needs volunteers to help members of Greer's international community learn English as a Second Language (ESL). *Fluency in a foreign language is NOT mandatory.*
In the program, students are divided into different level classes, and tutors teach level-appropriate materials.
After observing classes and participating in an volunteer orientation/training workshop, tutors are matched with a group.
Tutors help English language learners with new vocabulary, phrases, and conversation skills.
The center offers classes in the mornings (Mon-Thurs 9:00am - 12:00pm) and evenings (Tues & Thurs 6:30pm - 8:00pm)
We currently have a need for morning tutors for our beginning level classes.
