Our flagship Mentorship program facilitates Saturday experiential learning events for our youth, either through field trips or with workshops at a community center in the Bayview.
The events are based on our curriculum of 12 Life Values: 1) love without limits,

All our activities tie in these values and revolve around cultural enrichment, outdoor/environmental education, and community engagement.

Mission Statement
To help youth living in low-income housing build brighter futures through mentorship and youth development.
Description
City of Dreams is a 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization serving young people ages 8-17 living in San Francisco’s low-income and public housing communties. We empower at-risk youth to end the generational poverty cycle, make healthy choices, and become architects of their own futures through four dynamic programs: the Mentor Program, Junior Mentor Program, Out of School Program, and Experiential Learning Events. We provide mentoring in group settings and one-on-one matches. They are designed to help youth achieve their potential and avoid negative influences. We believe experiential events enhance the learning process and allow youth to develop the skills needed to achieve their goals. Since our inception in 2004, we have reached more than 4,000 young people and family members. Over 90% of youth completing the City of Dreams program remain in school, avoid teen pregnancy, stay clear of gangs and violence, and avoid drugs and alcohol - four key factors predicting future success. - See more at: https://www.cityofdreams.org/about
