The Machine Inside: Biomechanics

October 12, 2018 through January 6, 2019

Shrimp that can break through glass? Spider webs that are stronger than steel? Sharks that use their snouts to sense the electrical impulses of their prey? Find out why every living thing-including humans-is a machine built to survive, move, and discover, and explore the ways in which these marvels of natural engineering have inspired ingenious man-made mechanisms.

Come witness how evolution is Earth’s greatest inventor in The Machine Inside: Biomechanics , only at The Science Museum of Minnesota.

We are looking for volunteers to work in this Special Exhibit during weekday hours.

Available shifts:
Tuesdays from 9:30-1pm or 1-5pm

Thursdays from 9:30-1pm, 1-5pm or 5-9pm
