The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes' mission is to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. One of our athletes is looking for a volunteer to meet at the Mt. Scott Community Pool a few times to do some one-on-one instruction on the basic strokes.

Description
The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
