Our Silent Auction fundraiser event takes place on Sat. Nov. 10, 2018 at the Community Foundation in West Palm Beach, FL.
Needed immediately and through Oct. 31 are volunteer solicitors who can frequent or contact businesses known to them. Simply explain that you are a member of the Sierra Club (Yes, you must join first at sierraclub.org) and tell them you are helping obtain donated auction item for the Nov. silent auction.
We are focused on sustainable and green (environmentally friendly) donations. Examples of donated items are sustainable gift baskets; bamboo or metal drinking straws; cotton shopping bags; Earth-friendly lunch containers; gift certificates for outdoor adventures at local venues, etc.
You will be invited to of course to attend the event and bid at the auction/party which includes live music, talks and presentations from our volunteers--and fabulous hors d'oeuvres to boot.
