Provide emergency assistance directly to people affected by disaster in Berks County. Services are provided within the established ARC SEPA policies and procedures.
When a disaster happens during your on-call shift, you will receive a call from the Emergency Communications Center (Bridge) to see if you’re available to respond.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Willingness to interact with potential clients, often in high-stress situations
Attention to detail
Flexibility to respond to disasters on short notice
