Calling All Mentors in the Greater Dayton Area...
We are seeking volunteers for a 1:1 mentoring program for high school students. This is a 1 year program and meetings/outings take place the first and third Saturday of the month. If you have 4 hours per month to share with a local high school student we would love to hear from you. Background check (FBI & BCI) expenses are paid on your behalf and computer based certificate training is also provided. We have 25 students that desire to be mentored.
Speakers for the career planning component of the program are also being sought.
Our students career choices and interests are:
Computer Technology
Nursing/STNA
Military
Writing
