Join Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association’s remarkable corps of volunteers--community heroes that give the gifts of time and compassion to patients and their families at the end of life.
As a hospice volunteer, you will work with Livingston’s Hospice Team which includes nurses, social workers, chaplains, and home health aides. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide training, supervision, and ongoing support.

- Explore issues of grief and loss
- Learn to share view of spirituality
- Understand concepts of symptom management and end of life care
- Become acquainted with the hospice team

Livingston is sensitive to the financial circumstances of its patients and provides needed services, including those at reduced or no charge to indigent patients, based upon the available resources of the organization.
