Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center provides free counseling service to the most under-served communities in Chicago. Our clientele with substance abuse issues encompass intractable problems like homelessness, unemployment and previous criminal convictions. Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is seeking volunteers to help construct outside exercise equipment so that it can be prepared for the community's block party.

The Mission of Above and Beyond is to build an individualized treatment experience that is available to anyone in need regardless of their economic status. Our clients and clinicians create therapeutic alliances that design and execute personalized programs of recovery that co-exist side-by-side personal development and growth goals. We believe that recovery is a process that requires meeting individuals where they are at as well as addressing their environmental life circumstances such as: education, employment readiness, interpersonal relationships, and social reintegrative abilities and activities.

We are a 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals who seek recovery from alcohol and drugs at no charge whatsoever. We're free.
